Whitehill

Whitehill

Do you know anything about Whitehill tooling?

In the year of 2000 Whitehill stopped the manufacture of their original Cuterheads? This is . Seventy years after they were invented. In the 1930's machining was quite a major aspect regarding safety and the first circular cutterblocks were produced with a major effect on the industry.
However there were still some dangerous tools being used. "As far as I am aware Whitehill had nothing to do with the production of these"

For those of us old enough to remember when you could mould on a surface planer with a cap hold block and knives 3/8" thick we look back and think I must have been mad.

Whitehill now produce some of the safest blocks and tooling the indusrty has ever seen!
